Video of UWB Secure Entry Demo

This video show our UWB Door Opening Demo in action, based on our new ISP3080 UWB-BLE Combo module. 

The video shows precise distance detection using UWB two way ranging. For deeper technical dive into how BLE and UWB can be used together to create a power efficient secure entry application, you can read the following article.  Using UWB and BLE together to create practical and efficient secure entry systems. UWB provides a fast, accurate and secure distance measurements, that is resistant to "relay attacks", which are a major security flaw in traditional (signal strength) based solutions.

This demonstrator uses the ISP3080 to form the Tag and Anchor, but a FiRa (Fine Ranging) compatible Smartphone could also be used.
