Proximity App

Question: I have a question regarding the Nordic prox application. What is the power (dBm) notified in the master control panel ?

 
Answer: The proximity profile includes the TX Power Service which lets the central read the transmit power. In the proximity example the transmitt power is set to -8 dBm with the sd_ble_gap_tx_power_set () call, so the service is thus initialized with the same value.
